Something Different Is Happening On the Western Slope

For years, Medicaid patients have been told their only options are partials or dentures and that having a complete, restored smile wasn't realistic. We've built our practice around proving that's not true.

The Reality

Here's what we've learned after years of working with Medicaid patients in Grand Junction: when teeth meet the clinical criteria, Medicaid will cover comprehensive restoration. Not just basic extractions. Not just "make do" solutions. Real, full-mouth restorations that let you smile, eat, and live without compromise.

The challenge? These cases require a specific level of skill, surgical precision, and team coordination. Which is why most practices on the Western Slope don't take them on.

We do.

Real Patients, Real Transformations

Understanding Your Options

What Medicaid Covers

Medicaid typically covers the comprehensive treatment you need. For existing teeth, this may include root canals or crowns. For missing teeth, traditional dentures or partials may be covered since dental implants do not meet a clinical criteria for restorations. During your consultation, we'll review your specific case and provide a clear treatment plan showing what's covered.

What About Additional Services?

Some patients choose to add services beyond what Medicaid provides—bone grafting, soft-tissue repair, upgraded materials such as dental implants, or expedited timelines. For these cases, we work with financing partners that specialize in helping patients with varied credit situations. You can still get funding even if your credit score is below 680. For your specific treatment, we'll show you what simple monthly payments would look like.

The point is:

We'll never pressure you into services you don't want or can't manage. Our goal is to restore your smile within the framework that works for your situation.

Your Consultation: What to Expect

Your appointment is scheduled for about one hour. Here's what will happen:

  • Complete clinical evaluation and 3D imagines

  • Review of your Medicaid coverage and treatment options

  • Detailed discussion of your goals and concerns

  • Clear, honest answers about timeline and process

  • A treatment plan you can actually understand

We block out significant time for these consultations because we've found that rushing through them doesn't serve anyone. You deserve to understand your options completely and feel confident in your decision.

A Few Important Notes

These cases require substantial time investment from our entire team. When we schedule your procedures, we're typically blocking out half-day segments dedicated entirely to your care.

Because of this commitment, we ask that you:

  • Provide at least 48 hours notice if you need to reschedule your consultation

  • Come prepared with your questions and medical history

  • Be ready to commit to the full treatment timeline if you decide to move forward

We're selective about the cases we take on—not because we don't want to help, but because we want to ensure every patient receives the attention and care these complex restorations demand.

Please be aware: If you miss your new patient consultation or cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, we will be unable to reschedule a future visit with our office.

If you're ready for this kind of partnership, we're excited to meet you!
